      realpplayer for me too. it's a little slow on bigger files, like movies from youtube, so I use ReplayMediaCatcher for those. RMC will download anything from youtube, 100% complete and FAST. if you want to use it for any other site, the free versionj will only capture 50% of the file, on purpose. you have to pay for the program to be able to use it anywhere on the web and get 100% of the files you want, but for youtube videos it's 100% and uber fast, much faster than realplaye More..

      Yeah I hear that all the time. However plane crashes a blood & guts videos aren't out there everyday.

      Coming from someone who has zero uploads you have no idea what you are talking about.

      Its very hard to find fresh stuff and if you look at my channel I have very few repost maybe 50 outta of over 2000.

      If you don't like my post don't watch what I post, simple.

      Another thing. Folks like the demon and others are great at war videos so I don't do many.

  • I have used DH for quite some time. You will find that there are a few sites such as CNN that prevent you from copying their videos.
    Another item you may need to know is that when you use the drop down menu to choose the video, it will show anything that is on the page, including adverts. most of the time you may see a 450.flv in the list. That is normally an ad file. Not always, but most of the time.
    Then you will also see different sizes, such as 480, 360, 240.

    • @tat2d ReplayMediaCatcher from ApplianDirector grabs anything that you come across, including those news sites that are set up so you can't normally download from them. i got the whole Applian package. it has a lot of good stuff in it.

    • @Amusing I use that one it's very good. I paid €30 for the full version. There are some videos that wont down load or you get partial download. You gotta go with the latest upgrades to overcome this.

    • @LickyLicky when that happens, i use Replay Video Catcher. it came in the package. it's not automatic like Replay Media Catcher, because you have to set the window area where you want to record, but that's still a good thing because you can use that part of the program pkg for making tutorial videos. between replay and realplayer, there's nothing i can't get.

      go there. free, capture what you want with ease, edit size, convert to what you want. for example: d/l music videos from YT, convert to mp3, voila! *not that i would do that. that would be wrong.*

    Some people will still embed just for the points or because they're to lazy to make an effort to download.
