  • The people of Gibraltar don't want to be Spanish.
I don't understand why people say, if one country has land nearer another country than their own, then they should give it to that nearest country i.e. Falklands/Argentina and Gibraltar/Spain. They don't seem to care what the people who live there want.It doesn't make sense.

  • Falklands and Gibralter are virtually worthless so why do Argies and Spaniards get so uptight and belligerent? Latin blood or just arrogant machismo?

    • @Nepean109 Then why don't the Brits get the fuck out of other peoples land? The Brits are the bad actors in this play.

    • @sdflyr If you don't know what the fuck you're talking about shut the fuck up. We have had Gibraltar for over 300 years you fucking idiot, in 1967 and in 2002 there were referendums done and the people there choose to stay under British rule.

  • They might have been in 'hot pursuit' of some smugglers, drug dealers, gun runners, illegal immigrants, smart-asses - who knows and who cares.

    • @Triode i doubt the guardia civil would be chasing drug smugglers, that would be the spanish national police or the navy

    • @Daivodabest For to be spanish (or that I tought due to your channel), you have no idea of how works the police force of your country. The Guardia Civil is who chase the smugglers at the sea. Servicio Marítimo (sea service), did you remember?

  • The Treaty of Utrecht doesn't grant to Gibraltar "territorial waters". Those waters are from Spain. Europe has give the reason to Spain several times but... England and his ego creates this kind of conflict.
If the situation goes harder, Spain just have to do one thing: cut the walking pass border, cut the energy and water supply that enter in that rock through spanish lands, and to wait the England goverment's appeals.
