A teenage girl was repeatedly raped in a park by two soldiers from Prince Harry's regiment who later boasted to colleagues about their sexual conquest, a court heard today.

The 17-year old victim was allegedly attacked in London's Green Park the early hours of the morning on Saturday September 30 last year by Adam Bray, 21, and David Wright, 25, both soldiers in the Blues and Royals - where Prince Harry serves.

Martin Hicks, prosecuting, told Southwark Crown Court the troopers later claimed the girl was gagging for sex and after it was over she asked them to bring their friends the next time for more.

After the alleged rape the soldiers went back to the barracks in Knightsbridge to brag about what had happened -
and were congratulated by their fellow squaddies, it was said.

Mr Hicks told the court: "They told the NCO (non-commissioned officer) they'd just had sex with a lass. They then reported for duty at 5.15am. They said they met two girls.

"One had left and the other one was up for a threesome.

"During the conversation Wright started to feel a little guilty, that he had a pregnant girlfriend he was going to marry. They claimed the girl was gagging for sex and after it was over she asked them to bring their mates the next time for more.

"Having said all this the troopers that were present congratulated them."

Troopers Bray and Wright are trainees with the mounted squadron within the Blues and Royals, part of the Household Calvary which protects the Queen and performs ceremonial duties, including the state opening of parliament.

Describing the attack, Mr Hicks said: "It was Saturday evening September 29 when the victim and her sister travelled into central London and then visited a number of bars the last of which were called The Q.

"By 3am some five or six hours later they left the Q bar and walked towards Leicester Square with the intention of getting the night bus.

"Both had been drinking. Moments before the victim's sister was sick in the toilet in the club.

"Earlier in the evening the complainant had difficulties walking between one bar and another and had to be assisted to do so. A lot had been consumed in terms of alcohol.

"They walked along Wardour Street where they met the two defendants who had emerged from the pub O'Neils.

"The two had been drinking for eight or nine hours the previous evening.

"One of them went to the girls and asked what they'd been up to. Wright pulled the victim's hair and kissed her. At that moment she went along with it.

"That's when her sister called her away. When her sister called her away Bray then leaned over and said 'she's alright'.

"The defendants told them they were in the army and that they were about to be posted to Iraq.

"They congregated outside O'Neils for some seven or eight minutes before they walked towards Leicester Square.

"There was some disagreement and the victim's sister decided as this point to go home.

"The two defendants continued to walk along with the victim towards Green Park.

"According to the victim she felt confused and worried that she was on her own.

"At some stage along the route Wright put the victim's hand on the front of his trousers and over his penis which was erect.

"She pulled her hand away not knowing what to do. Her mobile phone battery was dead. She said she was anxious to call her parents, but they ignored her requests.

"The group then entered Green Park.

"Wright started to kiss the victim. He attempted to put his hand down her trousers. She moved it away.

"Then at one point Bray walked behind her and took both of her hands and held them behind her.

"At this point Wright removed her trousers and underpants halfway down her legs. He put her legs over his shoulders and inserted his penis into vagina.

"As he entered her she said 'you are hurting me, I want to go home."

It is alleged that at this point she was subjected to anal and oral sex.

Mr Hicks said: "She said she complained of it hurting but they continued regardless.

"Afterwards she dressed herself and went to Piccadilly and the defendants followed her. She asked for help and they ignored her."

Wright denies three counts of rape while Bray pleads not guilty to two counts of rape and one of aiding and abetting.
