    i saw his reality show a few times. didn't know their marital problems were that deep. but i looked up their situation more and it looks like they were hit by something called "The Reality Show Curse" -- marriages/families have a habit of breaking up when under the pressure of a film crew and their personal lives are exposed world scrutiny, seems like.
