40 goats killed by pit bull dogs in Lake Los Angeles

Deputies from the sheriff's Lancaster Station discovered 40 dead pet goats in a corral near West 164th Street East and Avenue Q in Lake Los Angeles about 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, according to a watch sergeant who declined to give her full name.
The goats were killed by three pit bulls who got into the corral, the sergeant says.

The dogs are still on the loose, according to sheriff's officials.
