Netanyahu says IDF aware of terror groups' increasing use of peninsula's border with Israel as rocket launching pad;
Wednesday night saw terrorists fire three rockets at Israel's southern resort town of Eilat.
Israel presents new deterrence policy -
IDF chief Gantz unveils new policy whereby any firing from Gaza, Sinai will be met with attack on Hamas, fire from Lebanon will result in attack on Hezbollah and any overseas attack will prompt response against Iran.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on Wednesday night's rocket fire on Eilat, saying that the defense establishment is "well aware of the fact that Sinai is turning into a rocket launching pad for terrorists.
"We are building a fence. It can't stop missiles but we will find a solution for that. We will strike those who aim to harm us," he said Thursday.
Wednesday night saw terrorists fire three rockets at Israel's southern resort city.
One Grad rocket exploded in a construction site in a residential area in the city. No injuries or damage were reported.
Security forces are still canvassing the city for the remnants of the other two rockets.
The IDF has been on high alert across the Israel-Egypt border following several attempts to mount terror attacks in the sector.
So far, the police and Home Front Command have not issued any special security directives for the area's residents.
"The situation in Sinai requires a different kind of deployment," he said. "This was a serious incident. We're studying it and we will go after those who fired on Eilat and targeted Israeli citizens."
Egyptian officials denied that the rockets had been fired from Sinai, and one security official said the Israeli reports were erroneous.
IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz on Thursday declared a change in army police whereby any firing at Israel's south will be met with an attack on Hamas, regardless of the group behind the fire. Similarly, any firing from Lebanon will result in an attack onHezbollah, and any terror attack by Iran's emissaries overseas will prompt a response against Tehran.
Speaking at a conference in the Gelilot base, Gantz discussed the many threats Israel faces. "The IDF is Israel's sharpened sword and protector," he noted. He also addressed the firing of rockets at Eilat on Wednesday night.
Gantz warned that "anyone who tries to test us, domestically or overseas, will find a sophisticated army ready to defend Israel and subdue its enemies."
Alluding to recent terror attacks in India, Thailand and Georgia, the IDF chief said, "We know the source of these attacks and those behind them must know that Israel's long arm will ultimately reach anyone who seeks to harm Israeli civilians and the Jewish people, Whether in Gaza, Lebanon or anywhere else."

Not that possible- If Israel will send military troops into Sinai it will be accused as an agressor and violeting the peace treaty with Egypt.
That is what took place after the recent mutliple terror attacks from Sinay in last August in which 6 civilians and 2 soldiers were killed.

Egypt is going to violate the Peace Treaty somewhere down the line so Israel just might as well take the Sinai now.....

The Muslim brotherhood said they will never run for election but in true Islamic virtue they will run and win next they will destroy the peace treaty by allowing this sort of thing to happen and force Israel into a retaliation
