SALUTE THIS HERO!
Next month, Sgt. Leroy Petry will become only the second living active duty soldier to receive the Medal of Honor for actions in Iraq or Afghanistan. During a military assault, Petry and his men came under attack from two terrorists and despite being shot in both of his legs, Petry returned a grenade that was lobbed at him and two other soldiers. As he let go of the grenade, it detonated, and he had his hand amputated on the spot. James Rosen has the story on this heroic member of the U.S. military.
