  • We are doomed as a country if our young people are pinning this much of their emotional stability on a meaningless sporting event.

    They loose, so what. Unless you or a family member die or is arrested based on the final score, there's no reason for a revolt or a riot.

    There are people all around the world who are dying fighting for the little things that we take for granted (and often complain about).

    Let's set an example people... Lets appreciate what we have, while we still have it.

    • @SlimeyLimey Yeah, thankfully our parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents weren't fanatical over a sport, like baseball, collecting cards, idolizing the best players, going to sporting events religiously and spending a fortune on hot dogs and beer. It's a good thing none of the generations before these kids did that sort of thing or else we would have been doomed by now.

      I knew we were in trouble about ten years ago when people started terrorizing their own city after their team WINS a big game. WTF is that.
