  • According to the actual article referenced (I think, since there's no citation.) the CIA is trying to make sure that the weapons being moved into the country don't go to Al Qaeda affiliates.

    The article also states that the weapons are being paid for by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

    But, it's from the NYT, so who knows? And it's from June of this year, so...
