Coast Guard sinks fishing boat drifting from Japan Tsunami
GULF OF ALASKA -- Crewmembers aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Anacapa and an Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules airplane respond to the adrift Japanese fishing vessel Ryou-Un Maru 180 miles west of the Southeast Alaskan coast April 5, 2012. The Hercules crew monitored the area for vessel traffic, while the Anacapa crew fired explosive ammunition to sink the derelict vessel.
