I had an embarrassing experience caught on video yesterday. I have contact at VH1 whose a big Prince fan and since I live very close to Paisley Park studios and his former house, I thought she would appreciate a few videos and pictures. The end result? As I was pulling in reverse to leave Prince's driveway, I realized I was completely "embarrassing scene stuck" there, (dummy).

Here's the video right after I realized I was stuck for a few minutes. Wait, it gets worse, as my wife was on her way to drive where I was and help me out, some peculiar looking guy in a car stopped to help.

As this guy approached my car, he said he just came from Paisley Park studios for some security function. Since I just came from shooting videos and taking pictures there, I assumed due to all the signs clearly posted ouside the studio reading "under 24 hour surveillance and private property" I was in trouble.

This guy then asked (verbatum) if I was aware I was at "Prince's old compound" which I started explaining about my contact at VH1 whose a big Prince fan, never been to Minneapolis, just shooting some videos, etc. As I started explaining all this, he said, "wait, tell me the rest in a minute, I have to go to the bathroom and ran on the side of the security building (seen in video) and urinated beside it.

He then ran back to my car and managed to mysteriously push me out by himself. Keep in mind, it was literally 3 degrees outside and my car was stuck in fairly deep snow on a decline.

It gets even weirder, he then sat in my front seat and asked for my contact information and started telling me he's from out of town, just took his car out of storage, if I believed in Jesus, that him and I were "destined" by fate to meet in Prince's old driveway, that he owns a children's clothing line, a record company, and a whole buch of other misc. stuff. I then realized this guy seems pretty out there (meaning possibly insane).

My wife eventually pulled up and he left. Absolutely weird experience but appreciated his help. Just not sure what his real motives for being there were. Hopefully my VH1 connection feels I've earned her business now : )
