Before descending Bertrand´s crater we went to Peinados volcano 5741 masl slopes, a sacred mountain for the incas. We made in 1996 the second modern ascent and the locals didnt give us the credit! They think there is a bull with golden horns that defends the summit. We also went to the Laguna Amarga (Bitter Lake), really 2 of them separated by 50m, one green, the other light blue. They are naturally contaminated with arsenic and cynide.
