I totally agree with you on this - 100%, but Your system does NOT work that way any more. I don't know how exactly your system works but What they are doing is good.
Get the "Vets" listed on that list and at least you have two boxes to check off.

I think you and I are on the same page here. Award people on their Merits and not their skin color, etc...
As far as the AMVET organization goes, I am not going to write a letter to them. I guess our world has changed into "Check this box" if you have a Work Ethic.
