PORT WENTWORTH, GA -- Federal inspectors are promising ,more checks of companies where combustible dust is a hazard.
Twelve people died in Georgia February 7th when sugar dust exploded at the Imperial Sugar Refinery in Port Wentworth, a suburb of Savannah.
Police have released some of the 911 calls for help:
Caller: "It just blew up. It blew up! I need all fire units to the Sugar Refinery now. It's a big fire, it just blew up. Port Wentworth"
911 worker: "What's the address?"
Caller: "Oh my god.. everybody's on fire up there... oh my god"
911 worker: "ok, I'll get em on the way..."
Caller: "Thank you"
Last week, the death toll rose to Twelve. Eleven more patients are still in critical condition.
