I tried those for a couple of years. Best to upgrade to bearings, good bearings are silent and have ZERO slack. I got to the point where I could even go down steps in them. Never ever learnt how to stop though. Kind limited things after a while.
There's only so many times you can hide the fact you don't know how to stop from folks.
I should have found a local group and got some basic lessons.
You simply have to use the special wrist guards unless you are a total expert like this guy. Expect to More..
