The £10,000,000 Chinese Takeaway.

The owners of a Chinese restaurant have been told they can keep £10 million they were left by one of their customers.

Golda Bechal's relatives contested the will but a court has ruled the will must stand.

Mrs Bechal's five nephews and nieces claimed she was suffering from dementia when she wrote her will and they were entitled to her money.

But Kim and Lian Man said Mrs Bechal was like a More..mother to them.

Ever since Mrs Bechal's husband and only son died in the 1970s, it was the Manns who became her closest family, and as well as sending for her favourite pickled leeks takeaway from their restaurant in Essex, they regularly spent weekends and holidays together.

Mrs Bechal's blood relatives say they may yet appeal the Judge's decision, meanwhile the Manns are considering whether to give any of their inheritance to charity.
