Faith leaders stage candlelight vigil at Ward 4 Wal-Mart site

Wal-Mart is marking their 50th anniversary on and around the 9th of
July. Faith leaders and commonity opponents of Wal-Mart marked the
occasion with a candlelight vigil at the Ga Ave site where Wal-Mart
wants to open a store in DC.

    Good luck with the 8 people against Walmart...I understand it's right in front of some small business but Walmart is a beast with a fat wallet.

    • @dogeatdog Not very likely. Many people in the Northeast REVILE Wal-Mart. More will shop there once, take one taste of their disgusting non-USDA graded meat, and not return. If enough people shop elsewhere that Wal-Mart's competitors don't close, the store will be defined as "failing" as Wal-Mart's business strategy is to capture 100% of all markets they enter. Once the store is considered "failing" it then is targeted by Benton Harbor for closure. There was a Wal-Mart somewh More..
