  • Eleven score and 16 years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in the idea elites can best manage the affairs of man, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are subject to the directives of an all powerful federal government through its authority to levy taxes.

  • Obamacare is the worst idea shoved down the throats of American people. It was done in the secret, done quickly, and quietly. Now it's in peoples faces and most of them are the sheeples are still quiet, just going along with the flow.

Speak up and write your congressman/woman, I've done it already. Outrageous this bill and I have my own health insurance!

  • Its nice to see a thoughtful analysis of a new law that does not include divisive, ad hominem, tactics. Thank you, Mr. Rubio, for appealing to our sensibilities rather than our biases.

  • OHHHH, he lost it at 2:49 (I found this information here on a blogpost, he says) ahahahahaha, FAIL. Everyone knows, even FOx News, that the prices will drop since everyone is going to be heading for their business. I do not agree with this though, I have always said 'mandatory insurance' OF ANY KIND (home, auto, health, etc) is a legalized racket business.

    • @qwerty4242 Under the assumption everyone will be doing that, I on the other hand will not be subscribing to socialized healthcare. As anyone in a large country with socialized healthcare, it's great for small things. But the second you need a valve replaced or a bone marrow transplant, you will be waiting quite some time for your name to come up. This shit goes along the lines of these cities banning soft drinks of certain sizes "for the people's own good". So once again our governmen More..

    • @qwerty4242 "He is a decent rich boy"
Born to Cuban immigrants, Rubio was raised in Miami, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Tarkio College and Santa Fe Community College before graduating from the University of Florida. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1996 while interning for U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Wiki

  • I absolutely don't like Obamacare but where the hell were all you Republicans righteous indignation when the insurance companies were raping Americans. Now you want to feign concern? Are you Repulicorps friggin kidding me? You lawded on about the rights of big Pharma, insurance companies, and doctors, to charge an arm and leg while it was beneficial to the Holy Capatalist system. Hell you gave them their Anti trust exemptions so you could cartel these companies in your states. Now that it's goin More..

    • @Anonyville: Most Republicans are paid off the insurance monopolies just like the lawyer lobbyists pay off the Democrats. Two reasons why health care prices will NEVER go down.

      We’re pretty much fucked.

    • @Johnsonrocks Well gee lets say you get Obama out. So friggin what? We will just go back to the same frigged up system we always had. Well that will do a lot of good...NOT. Fact is Republicans could have done something about this when they did have office but NOOOO that would have interfered with their huge million dollar payoffs in congress. Meanwhile their trickle down economics that has turned into nothing more than a humid vapor has failed America completely. You go ahead and vote Obama out. More..

  • The Republicans are only concerned about government spending when a Democrat is in office; Democrats are only “antiwar” when a Republican is in office.

Is Rubio a neocon? Will he be so “constitutional” free market when he’s the VP? I doubt it.

The king makers ensure anyone who threatens their Keynesian banker oligarchy never gets close to the White House.

  • If you look closely you may see the arm going up this guys back-side to the elbow. It's the long arm of the Medical profits interests. Health org.s were the 5th largest contributor to this guys campaign, maybe we should take his comments with a grain of salt as they say.
