This is a very interesting, not to mention beautiful, documentary about the current state of the art of Computer Generated animation and rendering. This short, yet very informative, documentary sheds light on an artform many know very little about. Of chief interest here is a new process of Denoising, or removing the visual static that is produced in photo-realistic animation. Although noise is inherent in traditional film, and does in fact help to bring realism to CG footage, it is also somewhat distracting, especially to animators.
