Meteorite caught on surveillance cam

A large fireball (meteor) was seen in the night sky over southern Arizona at approximately 9:20 pm on Tuesday, June 23.

The fireball was caught on film and seen by numerous witnesses.

It clearly broke into several pieces, and may have been satellite debris, or an extraterrestrial meteoroid burning up in our atmosphere.

There may be meteorites on the ground in southern Arizona and hope people will assist in recovering fragments for study, Aerolite Meteorites owner Geoffrey Notkin said.
