Illinois,
A black Lamborghini registered to Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs ended up abandoned and crashed along the Edens Expressway on Chicago's North Side.
Illinois State Police officials say the 2007 Roadster was discovered at about 3:15 a.m. on northbound Interstate 94. It had crashed into a light pole.
Authorities say it isn't clear who was driving but it doesn't appear anyone was injured in the crash.
Police says Briggs has contacted the Illinois State Police and officers will meet with him later today.
Bears spokesman Scott Hagel says Briggs isn't injured, but he declined to say if the player was in the vehicle when it crashed.
The car has a Kelley Blue Book value of more than $350,000.
