Subway groper turns self in after seeing his photo on news
BRONX, NY -- A quick-thinking straphanger helped nab a subway groper after she managed to snap his picture with her cellphone camera, cops said.
William Mitchell (pictured), 22, allegedly rubbed the 35-year-old victim’s leg beneath her dress while touching himself on a northbound No. 2 train at 9:35 p.m. on April 20.
He allegedly fled at the White Plains Road station near East 241st Street, but turned himself in to police yesterday after seeing his picture on the TV news.
