We've all heard Muslim women who wear the burqa say that
if law enforcement officers require them to show their faces for identification
reasons that they would be willing to do so. But how many of them actually
comply with officers in private? Also, as many of you may know, the burqa
pre-dates Islam, so any religious argument to wear it goes out the window. It
is a cultural issue, not religious.
