AMAZING footage has been released today showing the King of Pop on stage as he rehearsed for his comeback gigs in the run-up to his death.

The trailer for the This Is It movie is edited from more than 100 hours of film taken by crews as they followed Michael Jackson from April until June.
It gives a behind-the-scenes look at the late star developing and putting the finishing touches to the show that was set to take the O2 Arena in London by storm.

The film — which is said to give a privileged and private look at the Thriller sensation — is to be released worldwide.

Director Kenny Ortega, who was the performer's creative partner, said last month: "The world will see what our team was so fortunate to experience, which was the full commitment, passion and creativity that Michael put into this project."

The movie is due to be shown in the UK on October 28, tickets will go on sale on September 27.
