  • our business pays 3000.00 in rent monthly...2000.00 in electricity monthly, 25,000.00 in insurance a year, more than 60,000 a year in tooling....6 employees weekly combined payroll is @4800 a week....my cut is 600.00 a week...but yet, we are taxed in the upper 250,000.00 a year...if the bush tax cuts are ended...we have no choice but to let a few people go. increased regulation has increased the pricing of eveything we buy but our product price has not changed....money has never been tighter and More..

    • @buoymarker So that's an interesting analysis.

Are the proposed tax hikes on the wealthy on BUSINESSES making $250k+ a year, or INDIVIDUALS??

Because you clearly can't afford a tax hike, nor can your business.

If you're making $250k a year PERSONALLY? Yes, sock it to you. But your situation, no, that would be nuts.

It sounds like for that to make sense on a business level, with the average profit skim of 10%, for a reasonable $250k tax bracket break point, a business would have to make at More..

    • @Saros I don't know about US tax law but it's a principle, your incorporated companies income & your pay are quite separate, I don't get it.

    • @rozza2012 Well yes, but the money is the same regardless of how you categorize it.

If his company is taxed higher because it makes $250k+ a year, and his income which is essentially his profit is 10% of that revenue, he's only making $25k a year.

The company brings in a lot of revenue, but after salaries and expenses, he's only making a net $25k a year. If you tax the company more, clearly there's less money in people's pockets, and the pockets are not very deep to begin with.

      That would More..

    • @buoymarker Sounds like you may need a better accountant. Your taxed on what you make after all your deductions and expenses - not your gross revenues. If your expenses increase and revenues stay the same your tax liability will be less.

  • It's dangerous to expect the President to do anything with the Middle Class beyond exploiting it.

  • Everyone pays their fair fucking share! It's that simple! Republicans only look out for themselves and not the citizens that elected them! FUCK THEM! This guy needs to stop writing speeches when he is drunk. The rich aren't making the U.S any better.

  • What is the meaning of this captioning? Is it just an accuracy test? I can understand this guy just fine. The captioning however is absurd.

  • He is mistaken.
The middle are sick of handouts to the top and bottom.
The middle can not act as the blood donor any longer for a system that is dying.

The poor are illegal for the most part and should not be rewarded for committing criminal acts.
The wealthy, well they need to do their share; to demand to be looked up to, based on the actions of theft, well its no longer a good thing.

Th Middle Ground is the sane point of mind for many spiritual faiths, in America the middle calss is a poi More..
