The Senate Arms Services Committee held a hearing on Ballistic Missile Defense programs and it seemed like everyone had more questions than answers. While no final decision has been made about whether or not to continue the ABM programs in Poland and the Czech Republic, it is clear that Russia plays a key role in this debate. Senators, generals, and experts remain optimistic that Russia and the U.S. may be able to work out an arrangement that would benefit both sides.
