  • That part of the world (middle east) is a latrine. The one thing I know, is that Israel practices and abides by democracy, rule of law and basic rights (where none others do). Who do you support? The crazies (who mask themselves with innocent civilians) or a society much like the US? Take religion out of it.....go to basic democratic principles. It's an easy choice and worth supporting.

  • It's good to see that some people here on LL know this guy. He speaks passionately and logically (albeit; with a speech impediment) to his audiences. Norman Finkelstein is a great speaker in the Two State Agreement movement. It's a shame that he lost his tenure (even though you aren't supposed to be fired for political views; although he could have been seen as a liability) and lost his desired home (a group of young Jewish men got his landlord to evict him). Just remember Norman; it's worth it.

  • Seems a distorted set up. Finkelstein is 2 against 1,
    on satellite delay, and a weird lamp post stinking in his head from a back drop of NYC, while the others get nice shot of Golden Gate Bridge and half shell of the capital dome.
    I don't know what anyone's motives are but I admire Finkelstein's challenge to a seemingly united block of anti-criticism for anything that Israel does. I think he does, based on his Israel opinions, what everyone ought to do: think critically.
