This was filmed NW of Houston Texas in Harris County on March 9, 2009. Houston Police Officer Jack Applegate was being investigated by federal agents for minor related sex crimes (it's been said it involved child pornography, but unsure what was ever found). Houston Cop Jack Applegate reportedly "committed suicide", and (maybe) coincidentally on the day the feds were said to have busted his door in and raided Applegate's house. When trying to film this public police scene, the "investigators" seemed more interested in their cop pow wow. They were laughing and joking, and seemed more concerned with keeping cameras and people away than doing a serious investigation. The original footage was posted on yt, but do to complaints and threats from city employees, it was censored/pulled from it's search spot. The Tomball Chief of Police Robert Haupt and other Tomball city officials didn't like the video being out, but after censoring it, it has started going viral. As you can see, Police Chief Haupt motioned one of his goons Sgt. Gary Hammond to come harass me away. Help spread it if you are for the people being able to film and also know what is happening. Police wouldn't talk about the case so the story didn't even make the Houston news or in the Tomball Tribune newspaper. Citizens cannot even know if it was really a suicide. It happened in a suspicious place, behind a hospital, and not even a City Hospital in Houston. Help get this video around the internet or tv somehow, if you know how to do those things and can help. Contact to complain: Mayor Gretchen Fagan, Pro-tem Mayor David R. Quinn, Councilman Mark Stoll, Councilman Rick Brown, Councilman Derek Townsend, Councilman Preston Dodson, City Manager George Shackleford, Asst. City Manager Christal Kliewer, City Attorney Bill Olson, City Attorney David Olson, or Police Chief Robert Hauck. If you could contact atleast a couple people on the list to let them know you're concerned, the difference would be huge. Let's stand up for our rights right now! Let them know if you don't agree that citizen journalist or just regular citizens with cell phones wanting to film important things happening should be treated well, and not harassed! A phone call really will help change things!
