You guys are almost as bad as the islamics. Your debates are all characterized by a bit of arrogance, fanatacism and self-righteousness. God doesn't often speak to us mortals and the last time he supposedly did that was 2,000 years ago. Since then the bible has been re-interpreted, by man, so many times by so many people with an agenda that it has almost lost all meaning.

If God put someone in power would it not make sense he could take him out too? Atheists and non believers laughed when preachers said Israel would become a Nation again prior to WW2. The Jews being spread out around the world and then brought back was written in the Bible. Plenty examples in the Bible of people obeying the government until it asked them to do something contrary to God's law, just use common sense.
