They'd never believe it... Amazing to think huh, the time between the very first powered flight at Kittyhawk, and Neil's steps on the moon, was only 66 short years.

And 40 years later it's going to take NASA another 5 years to get to the moon.

Its sad that its usefulness is coming to an end, end of an era really...But COOL nonetheless. It seems like yesterday that I was a kid in the 70's reading articles about how they were gonna be able to reuse this marvel over and over. I definitely wont miss a launch or landing in the following months.
