Jerusalem Post Annual Conference 2012 - Fighting for the Zionist Dream

Disclaimer
What I am sharing with you today is the news of the Jerusalem Post's Annual Conference. I am sharing it to raise awareness of how the political and media movements gather in order to seemingly pursue and support causes. The strange thing is that these causes have undoubtably already been fulfilled and so I ask is there a hidden agenda or something else going on?

Either way, this isn't about Jew or Israelite bashing so please don't start it or accuse anyone of it.

What is Zion?

1. noun
a. The historic land of Israel as a symbol of the Jewish people.
b. The Jewish people; Israel.
2. A place or religious community regarded as sacredly devoted to God.
3. An idealized, harmonious community; utopia.[Middle English Sion, from Old English, from Late Latin Sin, from Greek Sein, from Hebrew iyyôn; see wy2 in Semitic roots.]

What is Zionism?
Zionism, Jewish nationalist movement that has had as its goal the creation and support of a Jewish national state in Palestine, the ancient homeland of the Jews (Hebrew: Eretz Yisraʾel, “the Land of Israel”). Though Zionism
originated in eastern and central Europe in the latter part of the 19th
century, it is in many ways a continuation of the ancient nationalist
attachment of the Jews and of the Jewish religion to the historical region of Palestine, where one of the hills of ancient Jerusalem was called Zion.
A brief treatment of Zionism follows. For fuller treatments, see Israel: Zionism; Judaism: Zionism.

In the 16th and 17th centuries a number of “messiahs” came forward trying to persuade Jews to “return” to Palestine. The Haskala
(“Enlightenment”) movement of the late 18th century, however, urged
Jews to assimilate into Western secular culture. In the early 19th
century interest in a return of the Jews to Palestine was kept alive
mostly by Christian millenarians. Despite the Haskala,
eastern European Jews did not assimilate and in reaction to tsarist
pogroms formed the Ḥovevei Ẕiyyon (“Lovers of Zion”) to promote the
settlement of Jewish farmers and artisans in Palestine.
A political turn was given to Zionism by Theodor Herzl, an Austrian journalist who regarded assimilation as most desirable but, in view of anti-Semitism,
impossible to realize. Thus, he argued, if Jews were forced by external
pressure to form a nation, they could lead a normal existence only
through concentration in one territory. In 1897 Herzl convened the first
Zionist Congress at Basel, Switz., which drew up the Basel program of the movement, stating that “Zionism strives to create for the Jewish people a home in Palestine secured by public law.”

Purpose of Conference?

After reading about Zion and Zionism one surely has to conclude that Zion (in a national sense) is now a reality and that the 'fight' of zionism has been acheived by creating a land for the Jews and Israelites in Palestine.

So, why the conference?

The conference would now seem to be about the 'Utopia' description of Zionism. This becomes something which is very subjective. This 'Utopia' description of Zion may come from the concepts of The Protocols of Zion

Conclusion

What? You want me to tell you what to think? Read it for yourself. It is all linked. Remember only a tiny minority of Israelites and (people who call themselves) Jews are interested in this type of Zionism and not the majority. Don't make it an excuse to act like an idiot. This is merely a warner about the types of people that exist and which clearly control (at least) a minimum of the: media, financial institution, world aid and international politics.

Clearly the protocols layout methodology for a 'New World Order'. The Zion state has already been established, yet zionists are still fighting and having conferences discussing international politics, whether or not to bomb Iran and media attitudes towards their nation. Are these about peace & prosperity or inciting international actions to acheive set goals?

Edit - Post has been reported twice. People clearly aren't reading what is written. I'm not posting my implications as facts (normal LL protocol) and I would never do that from fear of being a liar or being wrong. Some people are being very sensitive and immature and other's are giving mature refutations.... this is what debates are about. My opinion isn't going to be absolute truth and chances are that yours isn't either.
