A Yonkers man was arrested by local police after he slashed a German shepherd because it was racist.
Click to view image: '460dd4b09bce-14liptak01articlelargev2.jpg'According to 58-year-old Andrew Owens, Jenna the German shepherd only barked at minorities and bit him in the past because of his race.
When the dog began barking at him on Tuesday, Owens reportedly became so furious that he took out a nine inch knife and slashed the dog across the face.
The dog was reportedly cut from the right eye down to the eye socket bone.

What's especially interesting about the incident is the reaction from the owner Paul Tocco. He concurs with Owens and says the dog has an issue with people who are not white.
He tells The LoHud,
“The dog reacts to black people, Hispanics, anyone who is not white. She always barked at him. He (Owens) was well aware the dog didn't like him, and he knew to stay away from her.”
Owens now faces a felony aggravated cruelty charge.

I had a German Shepherd who really was ALSO racist!
NO LIE!
She hated DARK-skinned black people, and ONLY dark-skinned blacks (no matter what size, shape, or age). No other shades, or mixes, or races seemed to bother her in the least.
It was like she had a split personality...One that was the sweetest, most obedient animal on the planet, and the other, a murderous hunter of dark Africans!

I live in an all but me black neighborhood and my lab has been accused of the same attitude Which is ridiculous because he's ALL black! He has no problem with several of the neighbors and only seems to take exception with the same ones that make me squint also. He had the biggest problem with a white meth head who frequents the neighborhood. I think what this dog had was not a prejudice but a good character judgement. dogs can smell different hormones and phgeromones - angry, aggressive people smell like ...aggressive animals. The fact that he slashed a dog just proves that the dog was right. I do think that a big number of blacks have an anger management problem
