There are few things more attractive for a photographer — and a photo
editor, admittedly — than human bodies flying through the air in various
acrobatic contortions. Parkour is a photographer’s dream come true.
A group of Palestinian youngsters aged 12 to 23, from Khan Younis in
the southern Gaza Strip, showcased their gravity-defying stunts for the
camera. They practice in cemeteries and in former Israeli settlements.
Parkour is a physical discipline originating in France, which
combines running and acrobatics in order to get over the obstacles to
get from start to finish in the shortest possible time. It’s a method of
strength and agility training combining a variety of movements like
running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, leaping, and rolling. It uses no
equipment and is non-competitive.

The dude in the 4th picture is cheating...his pants are made from a hand-me-down flying carpet. Foul I say.

That isn't parkour. They're being blasted by Israeli airstrikes.

I've been a huge fan of parkour since it first came out, David Belle was a rollmodel at a young age to remain strong and be fit/good athletic shape.

I thought so as well. Good to see them learning something productive, in an otherwise unproductive environment.

The joys of having no job.
Would there time not be better spent helping the area they live in get cleaned up? I mean if I lived there I would be straight outside filling in those bullet holes so the children don't get upset as they walk to school...that is if they go to school?
It seems to me that they don't care about the place they are now, and are just waiting for some gates to open to somewhere else to move to.
Would the rebuilding of the area not show that the people want peace...and now More..
