@Defensor They do? name more than 5 famous british singers that sound even remotely 'American' when they sing.
Maybe it's because he is emulating the singer, or maybe Americans just sound like British people singing, lol.

@leesin LOL, good point, but to me they ALL do. Def Lepard and well ALL. I could name them all day. I didnt even know Most of them were British until I researched them. Nothing against them, I LOVE the bands, and when I was stationed in England for 4 years in the US Military, I seen a couple in person. GOOD TIMES. But I still think they all sound American.

@Defensor Maybe Americans sound like British people when they sing too? lol.
It probably has something to do with peoples singing voices, the tones at which people can sing, making it seem like their singing voice has an accent. But when you mention Deff Leppard for instance, you must remember theirtime was a big American rock kind of era and was a popular sound/style of voice.

when people sing accents don't show through, I've noticed it when Scottish people sing. it ends up slow and clear, i think its because they put alot of effort into it.
