A stand off between RCMP and a female with a shot gun inside a residence on Lancaster in uptown Moncton just off Katherine Ave. There are Police all over this neighborhood and have been evacuating neighboring buildings. Special unit from the RCMP started to arrived around 9am and Police have been trying to talk to the person by phone but so far no luck . Then a woman arrived on scene around 10:30am that had spoke to the person inside the residence, and RCMP Officer took those people to other Officers that were parked on Norton Cres. across the street from where the person is still held up on Lancaster. Noon a Ambulance was dispatched to the area to stand by as the stand off continues! more details as they become available.
