    they mean stop spending on other people programs.

    They don't mean stop spending on the dea.
    Stop spending on farm sub's
    stop spending on wars and bases around the world.
    Stop spending oil company's.
    Stop giving banks free cash.
    Stop giving military equipment to other country's for free.
    Stop giving foreign nation free cash.

      I will NEVER understand how or why we hand out cash and military aid to every other country on the planet when we are suffering so bad economically. It would be different if we had trillions of dollars of surplus, all new schools, roads, public services galore.

      But no. We are broke. Suffering like crazy. About to go off this fiscal cliff. And what do we do? Send Pakistan, basically one of our next mortal enemies, 20 fucking F16's along with truck loads of cash. WHY???????

    • @piyoti I don't think that is what anybody means. You're overgeneralizing to try and make a point. I think people just want to cut non-essential programs. I can think of a bazillion ways to cut spending but the politicians always say its going to have to be firefighters and school teachers. The unfortunate reason they do that is because it works on the lowest common denominators in American society.
