  • He is just letting his thoughts flow. It's not entirely motivating as you can hear him doubt his own path several times. The truth is...to be happy in life you need to make the best of any situation/job/career. I've seen people playing basketball for a living who complain. People who race cars and complain. People who have sex on camera and complain. The truth is happiness is inside of the person and not inside the job. Make the best out of your situation and take care of your health and your fa More..

  • I’ll never understand bodybuilding, I lift when I get the time but growing huge show muscles makes no sense to me. It doesn’t make you more athletic, it doesn’t make you tougher, it doesn’t make you a better fighter, it doesn’t make you healthier.

Its like another thing taken to the obscene extreme.

    • @Moore Slayer
It's an addiction. Some people just have the addict bug...others don't.

    • @Moore Slayer - Its partly the endorphins that are released (like anyone when they exercise), but then serious weight lifters use supplements - steroids etc. Like adreneline it results in a high, then addiction, then dependancy. Hence why many hardcore weight lifters tend to have some sort of mental issues/insecurities.

      Agreed.
I have never understood what the pay-back is for the huge number of hours of hard, physical work. And once you decide to stop, or decrease the hours of work, the muscles rapidly atrophy.
