4936 and 5029 Powering up Dainton

4936 Kinlet Hall a GWR (Great Western Railway) locomotive built in 1929 at the famous Swindon Works accompanied by 5029 Nunney Castle powering their way up Dainton Bank one of the steep inclines on the GWR line between Exeter and Plymouth. Both these locomotives made the daily return trip from Penzance to London for decades. At the end of steam 5029 Nunney Castle went off to Dai Woodhams Scrapyard in Barry, Wales where she languished and awaited the cutters torch .. for 12 years she rusted away until one day someone looked at her and had a crazy idea......
