A roadside bomb has exploded in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, killing at least five people, police say.
The blast struck two minibuses in the mainly Shia Kadhimiyah district in north-west Baghdad.
At least one civilian died in another explosion in south-west Baghdad, Iraqi police said.
US and Iraqi officials have reported improvements in security in Iraq leading to a drop in violence but the gains are said to be fragile.
A woman and seven-year-old boy were among the dead minibus passengers and at least 10 other people were wounded, police said.
In the south-west Karrada area, the fatality occurred when mortar rounds hit a busy street. Five people were wounded, police said.
