MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. - Eight illegal immigrants were arrested early Thursday morning after a traffic stop in Mohave County.

Deputies stopped a Honda Accord for speeding and observed the tail end of the vehicle was hanging lower than it should.

The driver was identified as 27-year-old Amado Lopez Diaz, with a foreign identification card.

There were four men in the backseat and one in the front seat. Two more men were concealed inside the trunk.

With help from the Border Patrol, deputies determined all 8 were in the country illegally.

They were all taken into custody and the driver, Amado Lopez Diaz, will be charged with human smuggling and endangerment.
