A BMP has to be the WORST possible choice for urban combat. Thin skin, shit field of view, a death trap for the soldiers inside.. Stuck wandering around where a close quarters attack can come from any side including above..

Looks like it got hit near the back, which is where the armour is weakest and the doors are fuel filled. 50 cal bullets will puncture the rear door armour, so rpg would easily do it.
