America's "Drunkest" Cities

Fresno, Calif., tops Men's Health magazine's list of America's "drunkest" cities while Boston, home to the "Cheers" bar where everyone knows your name, was deemed the "least drunk," besting even Salt Lake City.

The magazine, which will publish the list of 100 major cities in it's March edition, drew upon such data as death rates from alcoholic liver disease, booze-fueled car crashes, frequency of binge-drinking in the past month, number of DUI arrests, and severity of DUI penalties.

    • @Beinrich_Bimmler

The good news is you can go to LA or Bay Area where there is slightly less trash thrown all over the highways compared to bakersfield and fresno.

    • @jeru I hate California some parts suck less then others, some are very nice, beautiful, with trees and forests and beaches all within a few miles of each other. Southern California between santa barbara and san jose, and north of the bay area, has some of the nicest communities in the country. It just costs too damn much to live here, and so many stupid laws and insane taxes it is impossible unless you already make more then $200,000 a year and don't mind paying large chunks of that to the go More..

Born and raised in the bay area. I left that dump behind long ago for bordering states though. Used to be great living until all the tourists moved in. But you're right, central California between Santa Barbara and Monterrey are still sort of "California". Please don't tell all the resident tourists in the bay area and LA though. They'll ruin that too then tell you how to "fix it" after they get done destroying it. They also seem to like to scatter their t More..

  • NJ is the most densely populated state in the country, not on the list? Full of drunks. And Boston least drunk, with that many colleges not to mention the Irish? List is bullshit.

  • least drunk...Boston, moving on...colleges, world championship and the irish.

    this list has zero credibility.

    • @singlelife The metrics they used to gauge the drunkest city are just stupid. They should have at least thrown in a metric based on the prominence of award winning craft beers and tossed out the useless DUI data.

  • I kinda find that hard to believe. It mostly has to do with auto related tragedies, and Boston is a public transportation/walking city. Same with New York. Sorry but this article is shit.

  • I would think that basing the data on alcohol sales vs population would have been more accurate. Interesting nonetheless.

  • What would possess a person to attach beer bottles to their man-boobs and piss all over themselves?
    Or is this photo-shopped?

    • @Demonpreyer

I'll have you know that it takes a tremendous amount of skill and training to perform that stunt. I've been working on developing my man boobs for years in order to create the suction necessary...(sniff, sniff)...you just don't know how difficult it is!! (sniff, baa, whaa, sniff)

    • @DeathtotheMuslims Looks like it is coming down from his stomach, unless he has his dick tuck up into the elastic of his under like how I used to do in school.

Most likely spillage from the trial and error of sticking unemptied beer bottles on your tits.
