Obama and Janet Napolitano appointed Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore-in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim, who was born in Damascus, Syria, as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).

Their qualifications are they are Devout Muslims, and there is no competition or selection process by a HR department because they are Political Appointees.       I think I just had a 'V-8 moment'! Then I am a devout American and I still and alway will believe in the IDEALS set forth so long ago in our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. I still listen to our Anthem and get chills. I think I would rather be devout and loving my country right now than having my faith challenged.
