This is what will happen if the insurgents prefer their guns, violence, IEDs, guerilla war and suicide bombings to the Annan peace plan. There will be no way out for Syria if they choose other than peace and transition, and it could last for years because the Syrian army cannot be defeated, and the only victors will be the lovers of violence as Al-Qaeda, the CIA and other foreign backers move to fill the voids in a failed state.
