Hit-and-run caught on dashcam. Audi A4 R719XKX (UK)

A very close call caught on my onboard DVR whilst travelling south on the A41 trunk road between Chester and Whitchurch (North-West England, UK) back in July 2010.

The driver of a shabby '96 Audi A4 nearly kills himself and others whilst trying to overtake a Ford Focus on a blind corner, on the crest of a hill, using a car which clearly lacked the power needed to overtake in such a stupid place. Both the Focus and myself thankfully managed to take evasive action and avoid a major head-on crash. The driver of the A4 failed to stop so I turned around just up the road and gave chase. With the enthusiastic help of my car's 3-litre V6 I managed to eventually catch up with him four miles down the road and report his registration number to police, who I spent 40 minutes on the phone to whilst following him all the way to Liverpool so that I could keep them updated on his location. He eventually "escaped" by cutting across three lanes of oncoming traffic into a residential area, and the car has not been seen on police ANPR cameras since that day.

The driver and passenger looked to be around 17, both with very short light-coloured hair. Any info on the owner of this vehicle would be much appreciated. The car was unfortunately registered to a false address...

Driver is wanted for failing to stop and driving without valid insurance (since the car was registered to a non-existent address
