Grand Canyon : Blink of Time is a time lapse film featuring the stunning
views of the Grand Canyon. Blink of Time brings the viewer on a journey
around and into the canyon. Over 80,000 photos were taken over the
course of 7 weeks in April, May, and June of 2012 to make this film.
During the production we were able to capture the solar eclipse that
took place on May 20, 2012. You may also notice there are two shots that
are not from the Grand Canyon both are of Horseshoe Bend. We felt it
was appropriate to include these shots into the film because the Colorado river is a main staple of the Grand Canyon. This is GOTM Films
first time lapse passion project and was funded entirely by us. Our goal
was to show the scope of the Grand Canyon to those who haven’t had the
fortune of visiting this natural wonder. Using time lapse allows the
viewer a glimpse into the Blink of Time we spent making this film. The
film features the original song "Don't Waste" from Figgy and a free
download of the song is available at facebook.com/FiggyMusic (Vimeo)

I was at the Grand Canyon for the first time 3 yrs ago and nothing can capture the immenseness and beauty of the place. Your eyes can't even take it all in at once, you kind of have to scan and then find something to look at. You'd have to see it to understand. I saw thousands of pictures of the place and nothing prepared me when I first came up on the rim.

Another place to visit if you are near the Grand Canyon is the Painted Desert. Another epic view of Nature.

Outstanding. For any of you who have never been there yet and plan to visit, take some time to research the Canyon first. Avoid visiting during June,July and early August as the heat and elevations may drain many of you who are not acclimatized. There are a few ways to approach and view the Grand Canyon.Keep in mind if you are from the East Coast USA or Europe, the area size of the Canyon is larger than most of your States and Countries. One way to approach is from the South (South Rim)coming fr More..

We came up from Flagstaff to the South Rim. The night we pulled into Flagstaff it was a bit chilly with a light rain. My daughter says "Looks like Snow coming". We were in what basically looks like a Desert, I was like Huh??!!? why'd you say that?" The next morning I woke up to about 6 inches of Snow. I had no idea it snowed there. By the time we got to the Canyon, a lot of the upper ridges had a light dusting on them and it really was breathtaking. Bring a jacket because it More..
