Going Dutch - The Netherlands' slave trade
The film maker doesn't claim there was a royal dutch family during the golden age, he's talking about the ancestry, and later on the royal family is in charge of the Netherlands when slave trade is still taking place. This documentary is based on facts. And FYI: the film maker is Dutch, not an American. more facts .the dutch traded a small percentage of slaves.besides that the treatment of slaves were better then the portugese and british for instance.the dutch were one of the first to halt the slave trade.
