Jayen Varma, The Indian Bass Player has been in the world of music for the last three decades. In 2008 The Registry of Official World Records (Record Holders Republic) USA&UK declared him the Fastest Bassist. The technique he developed is widely known as ‘Indian slap bass’, since the Bass Guitar is played like the Indian percussion instrument Tabla. He is currently performing concerts with his band lead by renowned Indian classical vocalist Aparna Panshikar
