Commander: Iranian Army Monitors All Enemy Moves in Region

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian military forces monitor every single move in the region by the enemies, a senior Iranian commander stressed on Tuesday.


"Our country's Armed Forces have full intelligence control over the enemy's activities in the regional countries," Iranian Army Lieutenant Commander General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi said.

He further noted the deployment of the US missile systems in the regional countries and the Persian Gulf littoral states, and underlined that "such activities are carried out within the framework of psychological warfare" against Iran.

Meantime, Mousavi underlined that the Iranian army is always ready to defend the country against any aggression by the enemies.

"As Armed Forces, we are tasked to seriously maintain our full preparedness to confront any kind of threat with maximum power," the Army commander reiterated.

He further termed psychological operations as a two-edged sword which may deceive the enemies as well, and said, "They may think that they can really act against the Islamic Republic, and if this turns to be the case, then they will be faced with Iran's crushing response."
