Man Run Over by Taxi in Montreal
An altercation broke out between a group of youths and a taxi driver in Montreal, Quebec early Sunday morning at around 4am. This is what was seen from a cell phone camera in the street.
A 23-year-old man was run over, and a 42-year-old passenger was taken into custody along with the driver.
UPDATE: The driver, 47-year-old Guercy Edmond, appeared in court Monday where he was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, hit-and-run and dangerous driving. Edmond will remain in prison until his bail hearing on Wednesday, May 2nd
